In an effort to better promote individual events throughout Baker County, Baker County Tourism – Base Camp Baker has developed this form to help ensure that we have all of the pertinent information that is required for posting local events on the Travel Oregon state tourism website as well as various other online event calendars and magazine event calendars.

Since a number of these event listing opportunities are very specific about what information is required for posting events it is important that all information is filled out completely. The information provided on this form will be used by Baker County Tourism on our own website and our facebook page.

Baker County Tourism will also share this information with our other regional tourism partners including the Baker County Chamber of Commerce, the Hells Canyon Chamber of Commerce, and the Eastern Oregon Visitors Association so that they can also help promote these events. The information from this form will also be used when drafting press releases and sharing information about upcoming Baker County events with local, regional, and national media.

Please take a moment to complete the form on the following page for each Baker County event that you or your organization hosts or organizes. If you host multiple events please save a copy of the blank form and then complete and save a separate form for each individual event.

Once completed please save the form as a word document with the name of your event in the title and return by email to Baker County Tourism – Base Camp Baker. You may also mail a hard copy if you prefer, to Baker County Tourism PO Box 861 Baker City, Oregon 9814.

Please remember that all information on this form is required to ensure that the event can be listed on the Travel Oregon state tourism website and incomplete forms will be returned for any missing information. Photos are not required for event listing, but it is often helpful to include photos so that we can include them with facebook and blog posts, and share them with the media, if requested. If you would like to submitphotos with your event listing, you may send them to Baker County Tourism. (Please attach high resolution photos (1 MB or larger) in JPG format. Up to 3 photos per email.)

You may also upload images directly to the Baker County Tourism online photo album. This is a free online service but you will have to create your own flickr account at www.flickr.com to upload photos.

Photos on Flickr which have been taken by Basecampbaker are also available to event organizers for use in promoting their events and can be downloaded for brochures, posters and websites at no charge.

By submitting photos you agree to grant Baker County Tourism—Base Camp Baker the right to share contributed images on our website, blog, facebook page, and with other tourism partners including but not limited to Travel Oregon, Eastern Oregon Visitors Association, Baker County Chamber of Commerce, Hells Canyon Chamber of Commerce, interested media sources and any other partners that we deem appropriate. Photos contributed to Baker County Tourism are considered donated for the above purposes and may be used in this manner free of charge.
